Sharon M. Goley - is a graduate of the University of Charleston (BS, 1984) and of the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C. (JD, 1989). Ms. Goley is a member of the Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia Bars, and focuses on commercial, real estate and business general litigation. Ms. Goley represents clients in the federal and state courts and before administrative agencies in mediation and arbitration. In addition, Ms. Goley specializes in the areas of commercial and residential landlord and tenant law and employment law. She is currently responsible for supervising the firm’s large and growing commercial and residential landlord and tenant practice, and represents clients before local housing commissions and agencies, as well as in local courts. Ms. Goley has lectured and participated on panels and in seminars in the area of employment law and on Federal and State fair housing issues. She is a past Vice President of the Women’s Bar Association Foundation Board of the District of Columbia, having earlier served for two years as its Treasurer, and has been an active volunteer at Children’s Hospital for over seven years. Ms. Goley resides in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Ava N. Brown - is a graduate of Barry University in Miami, Florida(B.A. magna cum laude, 1999) and of the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, DC (J.D., 2003). While in law school, she was a licensed student attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic, and was awarded the Outstanding Student Award by the Clinical legal Education Association. She is admitted to the Maryland State Bar and focuses on landlord and tenant law. Ms. Brown is a member of the Black Women's Bar Association of Suburban Maryland, and resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Wilton O Nedd II - is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park (B.A. English, 2000) and of the American University Washington College of Law (WCL) in Washington, D.C. (J.D., 2003). While in law school, Mr. Nedd served on the Administrative Law Review as an articles editor and participated in the Criminal Trial Practice clinic. After graduation, Mr. Nedd also received a Master's degree in Law and Government from WCL (L.L.M., 2006). He is admitted to the District of Columbia and Maryland State Bar. Before coming to our firm, Mr. Nedd practiced primarily in the District of Columbia focusing on real estate litigation and probate matters. Mr. Nedd is now an associate in the residential and comercial landlord/tenant department practicing in D.C and Maryland.
